How are you finding the new profile widgets? What do you like / dislike about them?

Hmm, I think that there should be some "default" widgets set onto the profile. I thought it was bugged the first time I saw my profile with nothing on it. It wasn't till you mentioned that you can add widgets that I noticed.

How about a widget where you put what you're listening to, eating, watching, feeling etc.
and you update it when things change, like they have on deviantArt journals?

Oh have you noticed the new privacy settings in Account > Edit my Information?
You can choose who you want to show details to in that Information widget, but they will extend to elsewhere too

Oh didn't I tell you? I was thinking of branding Nocturnal Haunt as "the social digital art revolution", or something. Cause, while there are tons of flash portals, and quite a few art portals,they just show art. I thought maybe we could encourage people to be creative, with contests and sharing stuff with your friends as a way of expressing yourself. At the end of the day, writing something in a box to say how you feel is a bit rubbish - we could let users express themselves through lots of different ways, each a form of art.
Good or bad idea?

I mean if you did like it, it would take quite a while to make the social networking side of it. And I would want it done tastefully, not with a huge list of groups saying "Join if u liek orangs". First off, the spelling infuriates me! Secondly, what's the point? I just think doing the same thing through art, not professionally - just people trying it, would be a new idea and could make us a bit more unique.
