I think NocturnalHaunt should start sponsoring games. The website looks very nice, and has a lot of great features. But for a game portal, it's lacking a lot of traffic.
I don't know whether NH is run by an indie developer or a bigger team, but I think increasing the site's traffic could really help out.

I don't think we have enough money to sponsor games. I don't even think we have any money put aside for NH, not counting the hosting costs.
NH is run by Chris, and we (the developers) don't have much to do with server-side things. We're more like moderators. Zenron does a lot of artwork for the site, but I believe that's it.

We aren't actually a games portal so to speak, but rather a group of developers who can showcase their work here and make collabs together. While we do have a Portal section of the site, it's not the main feature but unfortunately we don't yet have enough developers to continually spew out new content to the main Games, Toons and Art sections.
We've included a portal because we want everyone to be involved with the site - and I personally handpick the developers who can put their own Games, Toons and Art online here in the main sections to get the most views so that they are of a high quality.
As Flashtoo also said we aren't earning enough money to start sponsoring games, but it would definitely be a good idea when we DO get enough money from advertising.
We're going to accomplish this by:
-the new site update due in February. This will make the place easier to use, navigate and look a lot nicer. I don't want to spoil it but it will blow the current site away!
-more new developers. I'll be asking new people to join us when the new site update is online, so the place can really get started
-more adverts! Once those 2 are done, we will hopefully have a lot more users on here = better site ranking, so we can have an advertising firm help us out there.
THEN we can think about sponsorship
And if you're wondering about the site update, believe me it will be brilliant. Easier to upload files, completely revamped profiles, better site design, better "Subscribe" system... really, it will be worth looking forward to I promise
