Well maybe there could be a cutscene at the start with everyone fleeing...except for one person. He pulls out a laser gun (or something) and runs after Toastzilla and they get into a huge showdown with chaos all around them, so it's closer to the idea of a spoof of Godzilla.
Alternatively you could go crazy, like you suggested, and bring other kitchen utensils into the mix and you play as a kettle, but that just seems absurd to me

lvl2- Bread inside. Toaster has higher def.

And yeah different stages of the boss would be great too, I like the idea of a giant piece of toast walking around and trying to sit on you in the last level Mainly cause it's a giant piece of toast

Sounds fun, so if all the artist/animators get a quick sketch of what they think it should look like, we'll vote the best (designe and artistic skill seperate) then get the winning artist to draw in the winning design? if said artist can't animate, we'll vote for the best animator?

All the artists who want to take part should draw a sketch of their idea of Toastzilla and post it in the topic. Then, we'll decide on the best one and that artist can draw it properly in the actual game
If the artist whose design is best can't animate, the best animator can take on the role of animating Toastzilla.
