OK, well the original idea was a platforming collab, and I really think a game would be much better

I'm open to suggestions, and we can't do anything animation-based because not everyone can draw / animate, which is why a game is good since coders can get involved too. OK I do see your point that toast isn't a flashy thing to make a game about, what do you think we should change? We only want a simple light-hearted game.
So what do you think we should do?

Haha sry I don't mean to sound like I'm against you Zen.

And plus toast might never be cool, but a giant robotic Toastzilla could be. Hell, we (we = I, lol) want to give him a giant laser cannon and stuff, plus we can go completely OTT for the attacks, comic-strip style. All the special effects really can show off the artistic talent we have here!

The toast isn't the focus, the robotic toaster is. You're fighting the toaster, Toastzilla - yes, it can shoot out toast at high speeds, but so what? That doesn't stop us from giving it flame throwers, laser guns, a bomb cannon - can you see what I mean?
Now how don't you draw a robot, even if its a toaster, without some artistic license?

How about a gaint robotic bear then? Or somthing like that, it mixes the robotics and somthing a little less stupid, plus bears can look really good if drawn well. However, I'm just saying this as the character I'm animating could look like a really good hunter if I recolour. Plus then I could bring back the blunderbuss. So fight this bear in the wild?

"Big Game Hunt" Have it in a forest, radioactive waste in stream. Fight a giant bear. (no robotics). Either way it sems origonal, and it could stay open for a sequal, with a different animals. Or one game, where you hunt mutated animals?

I like that idea But if its in a forest we would have to re-think how we can make the game as dramatic as possible, in a city its easy because you can have falling and exploding buildings. In a forest it would be harder because we don't have any screaming crowds and falling buildings.

And yeah I'm happy to have a bear instead, but it would be better to make it a robotic bear
I'm pretty experienced at drawing forests now, so that's not a problem for me and yeah you have a good point Kurai.
Well we can have leaves falling out of trees... hmm
No the city background would be way cooler.

Can we combine the robotic bear with a cityscape? The hunter guy could be out looking for it when it makes its way into the city, so he chases after it and the bear turns on him, bam. Back to burning buildings, screaming crowds, water pipes bursting, gound cracking etc. etc.

Sounds, good. I'll get restarted on the character then, just gotta re colour and sort out the animations. Still a tazor?

Yeah sure. Unless we want a blunderbuss? I'm not really fussed

Bear attacks then:
Stage 1
-Swipe claw. The robotic bear extends his claws and makes a swipe at you
-Eye-laser. Fires it at you, slowly following you round screen - easy

Stage 2
-Fires rockets from rocket launcher. Pulls out rocket launcher and fires at you
-Eye-laser. Faster
-Roll. Rolls from one side of the screen to the other. If he hits you, you get damaged.

Stage 3
-Lightning strike. Bear raises arms to sky. Clouds darken, lightning hits his metal casing which he then concentrates into one single deadly beam, aimed right at you
-Eye-laser. Pulses it at you in quick succession, standing still = getting hit

Give me your suggestions and I will add them to the list
