Is 1.5 week long enough to draw and animate ALL stances of the player?
I doubt it, but then again, I'm no animator.

It would be for an experienved animator maybe.
My guess would be 3 weeks at a casual pace. But I think this collab will come down to the wire.
Probably what, another like week or two before enough details are written out to start? Then more time for people to get around to working.

I think we should have an art lead who's repsonible for telling all the other artists what to do and when to do it by. I don't think we'd have a problem getting done on the programming side though.

The art lead would also have to make sure the quality of everything is good enough to go into the game..

I'll easyily get the animations done in that time. It's only the player, and I've got the drawings read, I just need to pose them in movie clips and move around the parts. Also, the fact I'm not doing FX will make it simple.

As a note, I got a friend to draw out the character, he should post soon, if not eh. But yea looks good, I'll get him animated once I get the coloured body parts back from him.

@Woadraiders, it's a good idea. Well the 3 artists me, Kur and Dim can all evaluate each others work and see if it needs improving / doesn't fit in with the cartoony style. Plus I think out of us 3 Dimeck is the lead artist? And no we do need a bit more planning still, but we have come a long way!

@Dimeck, great to hear i didnt know if i was being too stingy And great, can't wait to see what the main character could look like
The player is the most important thing so far because once that's made the coders can do movement and stuff.

We still need to finalize attacks, especially the player attacks since Dimeck will animate them soon - what should we have? Post thoughts below.

I'm thinking a taser, simply because a melee weapon would be best with keyboard-only controls, and it could also cause the toast to burn, toastzilla to short-circuit and eventually explode...
Also you could have different attacks - jab the taser, charged taser attack maybe?

Well atm the guys has a blunderbus, I can change it easily, but just somthing to go off. With a blunderbuss it could have different firing modes though? Spread or Single. So spread may be slightly slow and good less accuratly, and single is faster. Possibly aimed shot, basicly a charged shot?

Personally I would prefer a taser because its more kinda high tech and fits in more with the idea of a giant toastzilla monster attacking a city.

Hmm...I can offer you menus + interface? That would be pretty cool. You could draw some concept art for the background, make a logo, do buttons + make it look all high energy.

OH!
We pretty badly need someone who can draw + animate blood and gore for the "nightmare mode". Are you any good at that?

Choose:
A) Menu art.
B) Menu art and menu coding.
C) Something else that doesn't have to do with the menu.

If we've got everyone involved and happy, we can write down a definite list of roles and tasks.

I just want everything to speed up a bit so we can all start

And Flashtoo, maybe Jack could draw (+ animate if he wants to) it all, then send it to you to make the buttons work and everything.
