For advertising purposes we need to get a collab going. Bascially if we can creat good collab together the site will be advertised and looks profersional. Furthermore, it gives us an excuse to post the site link on Ng. Meaning others join this site to join the collab.

So, if your interested:

You must create a scene, with somthing going on related to NH. For example, use a popular character on the site to create some form of scene, eg a fight scene using the chracter in the Pre loader. Or you could creat somthing literal, like some one surfing the foums. Any if find, as long as it's linked to this site.

We will then have the camera follows things from each scene to each other.
Eg: camera follows fly from outside scne, the omoputer scene, then the camera switches to a mouse. etc. If you want to join Post a scene and an animal you want to follow. Once we get enough, I'll pair animals, then you starts your scene, making sure it ends with the animal you've been paired with.

@Blumess can you please give a list of what you deem this sites "headline characters" and an image link. (eg Blockhead is a headline character of NG)
Also, I'll organise this if you want Blumess, however it'll make mroe sense if you do.

If you have any questions please ask. I'll create an NG topic once everythings sorted, then we can get Ng artists to come here.

if that makes sense. The animal/character comes out of a black opening, eg a side view of a door. walks/flys etc. throug hthe scene going anywhere. Then goes through into a black thing. eg, a side view of a window. So the animation starts and ends in black.

Character has to walk in a 2D line for this to work. the background can and shoukld have dept. But the character must walk in a straight line, The Z axis cannot be altered.. Anyother axis can be altered.

Does that make sense?

OK, I kinda get it but won't that collab be over in like 5 seconds, if each scene is 1 second long? Plus it looks like there wouldn't be much variation between each scene

I think we can come up with a better theme than that, maybe just a theme which we work around. No limitations or anything

How about we do something like this one - maybe we could give everyone the theme of "Night" (like nocturnal in our name) and they can just let their imaginations run free. Something like that, maybe?

Flashtoo, I'd hate to leave out members, I mean I want to make this collab with the idea, the whole sites working together? Can you draw or voice act?

And yea seems liek a good idea. So, we get a nice song. Themed around night. Then animate around the song and theme. I'll start looking for a song. Post if you know a good one.

That's settled then. Once we find a song, I'll email all the other developers here (some are away atm) as well as a few users who I think might like to get involved and we can confirm the details etc.

Are we animating to the music (like, a music video) or will it just play in the background? We might not have enough parts for a whole song, unless we see if anyone on NG wants to join the collab

Or maybe we should just use the song for in menu + credits, so people can do voice acting and add sound effects if they want to. Just an idea tho

And successful collab threads often reach 10+ pages, which'll draw LOADS of attention. Dimeck, what's your B/A?

My opinion:
Don't hold the collab discussion on these forums after you post the thread on NG. If you do then the first people to see it will come here, but then the thread on NG wouldn't be active so those will be the only people you get..
